Carry-On Baggage Rules
Falcon Gold Business Class: You can take one bag with a maximum dimensions of 22 x 16 x 12 in or 55 x 40 x 30 cm or a garment carrier with a maximum width of 8 in or 20 cm. In addition, you can carry one briefcase with a maximum dimension and weight of 17 x 15 x 12 in or 43 x 38 x 30 cm and 20 lb/ 9 kg, respectively.
Economy Class: You can carry one bag with a maximum dimension of 17 x 15 x 12 in or 45 x 40 x 30 cm and a weight of 13lb/ 6 kg.
Checked Baggage Allowance
- If you travel in Falcon Gold Business Class, the weight of bags should be 88 kg/40 kg. For Economy class passengers, the weight should be 66 kg/30 kg maximum.
- Frequent flyers automatically get extra baggage allowance. For e.g., the Silver frequent flyer gets 33 lb/15 kg extra. The Gold frequent flyer gets 44 lb/20 kg extra, and the Black frequent flyer gets 55 lb/25 kg extra allowance. Remember, as per the IATA regulations, your baggage must not weigh more than 70 lb/ 32 kg.
- If the baggage exceeds 158 cm or less than 215 cm, it is considered oversized and charges extra/ per piece.
Gulf Air accepts boxes, suitcases, bags, cardboard boxes, and pre-packed electrical goods, except TVs, if they do not exceed the approved dimensions. Besides, they must be wrapped with plastic wrap.
TVs maximum of 50 inches, in pre-packed condition, are accepted as check-in luggage. TV with a size larger than 50 inches, must be shipped via cargo.
